Homecoming 2009

The Bishop Ward Pep Club and Student Council would like to invite everyone to the 2009 Homecoming Festivities. The theme for this year’s Homecoming is “Cyclones on Broadway.” Students will be diligently working on floats and hall decorating through the month of September.

On Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 6:30p.m. Pep Club is hosting the annual Homecoming Pep Rally and Parade. Weather permitting, the Pep Rally will be at Dorney Football Field, featuring the display and parade of the floats and introduction of Homecoming Queen candidates. On Friday, October 2 at 10:00a.m. Mass will also be celebrated at Dorney Field (weather permitting). The Mass is a beautiful celebration of our Cyclone Family and we will also offer a special blessing to our Freshmen Class, the Class of 2013.

The football game on Friday, Oct. 2 will kick off at 7:00p.m. against the Sumner Academy Sabres. The weekend festivities will culminate on Saturday for the students with Homecoming Dance. Student Council will soon be selling the annual Homecoming t-shirts; check the Ward website after Sept. 8 to see this year’s design and order opportunities.

We extend a special invitation to our alumni to join us, because Homecoming is such a great time to see old friends and reconnect with the Ward community.
