Theresa Collins '13 Awarded Wellesley College Book Award
Bishop Ward student Theresa Collins '13 was recently awarded the prestigious Wellesley College Book Award.
"I'm really looking forward to finding out more about Wellesley and hopefully touring the campus this summer," explained Collins, who is not only next year’s Senior Class President but is seriously considering attending the college. "I want to go out of state (for college) and they have the programs I'm interested in. Plus, they are interested in me!"
Every year, Wellesley College honors young women who excel academically and are highly involved in extracurricular activities. The Book Award Program recognizes those women and gives them the opportunity to explore Wellesley as an option for college.
The Wellesley Alumnae Association awarded Collins with The Norton Book of Women's Lives, a collection of twentieth century literature of women's lives that includes autobiographies, journals and memoirs.
