It was a good first meet for the Distance crew.
Jacob Jaksetic took first in 800 2:05
Oscar Solis took third in 800 2:09

It was a learning experience for the young sprinters, and a stepping stone for the meets to come. Darius Horn turned in a solid performance in the Javelin with a throw of 130.
Girls Side
Frankie Oropeza ran a blazing fast 5:34 mile by herself. She is 11 seconds away from breaking the school record. Frankie also ran 12:25 in the 2 mile, she is 40 seconds away from breaking the record as well.
Andrea took 3rd place in the 2 mile with a time of 13:16. She's competing well and hopes to break 13 in the next couple meets.
Girls are limited, but have a great oppurtunity to do very well. Meg Calvert very successful in 300H and our sprinters have started off well.
