The Miracle of Multiplication
When Jesus raised his eyes and saw that a large crowd was coming to him, he said to Philip, "Where can we buy enough food for them to eat?"
One of his disciples, Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, said to him, "There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish; but what good are these for so many?" John 6:2-9
The ending to this Gospel passage is familiar: Jesus blesses the food and, miraculously, it multiplies so that the entire crowd is fed.
This story reminds us that all gifts- no matter the size- can make an impact. Our need it great, but no gift is too small.
When you, like the boy in the Gospel, step forward and offer your gifts to the Lord, Jesus takes it, blesses it and multiplies it to provide for all. The great power of individual participation is the strength in numbers.
Your generous gift becomes so much more as young students at Bishop Ward grow in their faith and listen to God's call as they prepare for college. We need your help to continue this momentum and ensure they can achieve their dreams.
Please consider a gift to help us. It WILL make an impact.

A generous alumnus has agreed to match all donations up to $100,000 and it is our goal to reach this amount and take maximum advantage of this gift. If everyone helps just one, together, we help many.
