Something wonderful is happening at Bishop Ward High School! I am pleased to announce The St. Joseph Campaign for Bishop Ward – Build. Repair. Sustain. Through this campaign, we will renovate our facilities to ensure our students have access to state-of-the-art classroom and technology, address critical infrastructure repairs and facility improvements across our campus, and grow our endowment to keep Bishop Ward accessible to those who desire a strong, Catholic education.

Since 1908, Bishop Ward has been a “beacon of light on the hill” for an ever-changing and diverse community. As the only Catholic high school in Wyandotte County, Bishop Ward serves a vital role in our archdiocese. Today, I invite you to join me, our dedicated faculty and staff and our Board of Trustees, in supporting this extraordinary effort to build, repair and sustain Bishop Ward.

St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus and spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, please pray for the Bishop Ward High School family, its students, families, faculty, staff, alumni and benefactors. Join us in asking God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, to empower us to build, repair and sustain Bishop Ward High School, thereby bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to future generations in the urban core of Kansas City, Kansas. 

 In Nazareth, hidden from the world, Jesus grew, and the love that saves all humanity took shape. Grant that we, too, might grow in that love through faith and service. St. Joseph, may we work as you did in faith, hope and charity, and may the needs of our Bishop Ward family be met as the needs of the Holy Family were met by your work and the grace of God. May the Lord grant success to this campaign. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
