Seniors Everette Brown II and Keylan Overton both received the coveted Martin Luther King, Jr. Educational Awards Program Scholarship, which is sponsored by The Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Celebration Committee here in Wyandotte County.

The scholarship requires the recipient to be in a graduating class of 2025 as well as having above average academics with plans to pursue a post-high school education program. These awards were announced yesterday, on the Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr., January 20th, 2025.

We are so proud of Keylan and Everette for taking advantage of the many scholarship opportunities offered throughout our community and embodying deserving youths who are role models for social change. Congratulations to these wonderful Cyclones!
