Parents, please note: Students coming to school to pick up their things it is a come and go process. No gathering inside or outside the building. One student at a time can enter, get their things and then exit the building.

As we at Bishop Ward continue to follow directives from the State of Kansas, we will not resume online classes through Google Classroom until Mar 30. The State is asking us to have teachers prepare their remote lessons next week, Mar. 23-27, and then resume teaching Mar 30th.
No new date has been set for trash bag pickup. Thank you for your support and understanding.

With a great deal of consideration for the safety and well-being of our students, families, teachers, coaches, and community, all student practices and activities have been suspended over Spring Break, March 15-22, 2020.
During this time, a deep cleaning of our facilities, including the stadium and the school, will be performed. We will continue to update everyone on the situation. Please continue to check your email and monitor the school's website, www.wardhigh.org, and Facebook page for updates.

Winter Sports Awards night for tonight Wednesday 3/11/2020 has been postponed and rescheduled at a later date.
Due to continued repairs, there will be no school on Thursday, March 12th.
Congratulations to former Head Football Coach Dennis Dorr ‘73 on his selection into the GKCFCA Hall of Fame. Dennis will be honored at half-time of the Annual MO/KAN All-Star Game. The Bishop Ward community couldn’t be prouder!
Student actors from Beauty and the Beast visited local Catholic feeder schools! They had fun interacting with they young ones and having sing-a-longs in character!
One kindergarten student asked them if they had stepped out of the TV!

The Winter Sports Awards Night that was scheduled for tonight, Tuesday, March 10 has been cancelled for this evening. The awards night has been rescheduled for tomorrow evening, Wednesday, March 11, at 7 pm. in the Auditorium.
Please join us as we honor all of our Winter Teams: Scholar's Bowl, Cheer Team, Wrestling, Girls' and Boys' Basketball.

The Academy of Finance hosted their Leadership Conference on Monday, March 2nd at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center. It was a great event! Thank you to KPMG, Bank of Labor, KCFD, Park University, CCF of KC, and the Kauffman foundation for making this a great event!

Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball Sub-State Brackets have been released. Boys will travel to Marysville on 3/2/2020 for a 6 pm tip-off. Girls will host Hiawatha at Turner High School on 3/3/2020 for a 7 pm tip-off. LET'S GO CYCLONES!!!
